The head of Pop Clocky is shaped like a ball and fits perfectly inside the top of the base. When your alarm goes off in the morning a spring pushes forward, forcing the head of Pop Clocky to pop off of the alarm clock. Since the head is made out of a soft and durable plastic you do not have to worry about it breaking as it hits the floor.
