Buyer Beware!

Based on what we can see on the infomercial, Dial Vision seems to be pretty much authentic. These glasses appear to be built from high quality, sturdy material ( lenses and frame ), and when they are bent or dropped, they come out just fine sans any sign of damage. It is worth being skeptical, especially since As Seen on TV products have a notorious reputation for being made from cheap material. Also, the company that makes them, Telebrands, have other negative reviews to be found online from many unsatisfied users. During our research we were unable to find any alternative website that sells the Dial Vision glasses.

  1. Correcting Vision.

The product can be used like normal eye glasses by correcting your vision so you go about your daily activities. They can be used reading, watching TV, driving and many more. All this with just a single pair.

  2. Backup Glasses

Breaking or losing your old glasses is almost inevitable. That is these glasses makes for an excellent pair of backup glasses in these scenarios. They also make for a good backup should your prescription suddenly change on you. This way you don’t have to go through the long process of making a doctor’s appointment just to get your eyes checked out.

How It Works

All that the company has said about how the product works is these glasses uses sliding lens technology. This technology works by adjusting the power of the lens when you turn the dial to bring everything into focus and match your prescription.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Put Them On.

Simply put on the eye glasses then focus on the included eye chart–after you hang it on a wall.

  2. Adjust

While looking at the eye chart, cover the left lens of the glasses. This will allow your left eye to focus more. Now, slowly adjust the left dial until you can see the chart clearly. When done with the left eye, simply switch and do the same for the right eye. After you do this, you should be able to see the chart with both eyes clearly.

Our research on the glasses has uncovered no credible user reviews and opinions on the Dial Vision glasses online. As such, we cannot be in a position to accurately say whether this is scam or not with certainty. All we did was to look at a similar pair of glasses called Instant 20 / 20 Glasses to see what the customers are saying about these particular types of products. These glasses pretty much work the same way. The response on Amazon has been generally favorable, with the glasses averaging 3.5 out 5 stars based on 461 customer reviews. This is far from stellar, but it should paint a good picture that the glasses will probably work as advertised. The glasses were mostly praised for having lenses that easily adjust and for being reliable in an emergency as the go to back up glasses ( when you break or lose your old pair ). Some common complaints were that the lenses were easily scratched, especially when continually adjusted; the glasses were too small and flimsy, they failed to adjust the pair etc. A few of them even claimed that the glasses made them look ridiculous in public. If any of these customer reviews of the similar glasses are anything to go by, then the Dial Vision Glasses are worth taking a look into with little reservation.

  • Instant 20/20 Glasses

These glasses are a good alternative to Dial Vision, especially since they have similar functions, features, benefits and design, so we won’t get into much detail on that. The company that makes them claims they can correct 90 percent of spherical errors, meaning that there is a very good chance they will work for most common eye problems.

  • Prescription Glasses

If the product doesn’t work for you, for whatever reason, then you might be better off making an appointment and getting prescription glasses. Although it won’t be as cheap and fast, they will be guaranteed to match with your eyes and they will fit you properly, especially since you picked the frame yourself.
